Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Staffing/Recruiter:
•Screen all applicants by performing an interview, evaluate place ability of candidates, and conduct reference checks
•Call resumes for prescreening and invite them to apply in to register
•Manage all incoming job orders by dispatching available candidates
•Develop relationships and maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers and maintain rapport with all customers and candidates by verifying any and all concerns, complaints, and queries.
•Assist in writing job ads and screening all resumes that are transmitted by fax/email appropriately
•Assist temporary staff contacting our office with questions, concerns, issues, and payroll questions
•Contacting temporary staff to confirm/cancel shifts daily
•Reception relief and clerical duties such as sorting payroll, invoices and payroll prep when needed
•Entering all data into the following databases, call in to work, Candidate Database, Dispatch, etc…
•Provide reception relief and clerical duties such as; sorting and preparing payroll, and preparing invoices when needed
•Assist in any Health and Safety issues
•Assist all coworkers when needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Payroll:
•Ensuring consistent communication with clients and employees to obtain hours worked
•Ensure all company databases are updated, including, ADP new starts, Candidate database, Job order database, deductions, advances, software programs & Request log and submit on a weekly basis
•Enter all information on Excel Database spreadsheet weekly and ensure all formulas are entered correctly and that all payroll and billing information submitted are accurate.
•Enter new customers and legends when new clients join our payroll
•Payroll duties, including, inputting hours into payroll dispatch
•Manage incoming job orders and entering all information accordingly
•Creating new dispatch spreadsheets for new clients
•Sorting all weekly payroll (cheques and direct deposit slips) accordingly
•Addressing all payroll related inquires and/or questions from both temporary staff and clients
•Checking all payroll hours submitted to ensure accuracy and indicate if needed to the client an discrepancies
•Coordinate with all staffing coordinators to ensure that information on file is accurate and correct
•Filing and clerical duties associated with office maintenance of employee records
•Any additional job functions under the direction of the management team
Staffing Coordinator/recruiting functions are to coordinate and place appropriate employees with customers needs, screen and interview all applicants, investigate problems and complaints, record and enter data, aid in recruiting ads and performing clerical duties as needed. Senior Staffing specialist is also responsible in the training of any new staff.
Payroll Function involves all aspects of customer support, workforce support, human resources, health & safety, and overall functions of the weekly payroll. The job consists of customer service (external & internal), maintaining confidentiality and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines. The position is to provide all necessary information to produce weekly payroll and aid in all aspects of running the day to day functions of the branch office.
